Dominic Frei

I started writing my first lines of code on an Intel 80286 in MS-DOS in my teenage years back in the 1990s, creating text-based adventure games for my friends and me.

And this passion has never changed: Computers, code and games are what I live for.

I've worn many hats during my career, but software development has always been the common denominator, from being an intern in an event management agency after my B.Sc. in Computer Science to owning my own software development agency later in my life.

During this time I had a chance to work with all kinds of languages and technologies. From iOS on the frontend side, over Python and .NET on the backend side, to engineering cloud solutions with AWS to name just a few of those.

Besides creating code I also love to share my knowledge, whether it's through writing tutorials, creating videos, giving talks, or delivering workshops.
